The Origins
MC Plast was established over 40 years ago, in 1981, based on an entrepreneurial vision of its current General Manager, Luciano Melchiori. Since its inception, the company has specialized in the manufacture of equipment for plastic and thermoplastic extrusion. Over the course of its history, it has moved to three different locations; the latest—acquired by the company in Fagnano Olona in 2004 — features a covered area of over 1,500 m2 and a total area of nearly 3,000 m2.
MC Plast was among the first companies in the sector at the European level to obtain ISO 9001:2000 quality certification in 2000 — later upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 — demonstrating that all company processes, from design to after-sales service, are constantly monitored to ensure quality that consistently ranks at the top of the industry.
